Rodi is a family-owned Greek and Mediterranean restaurant on Church Street in Old Welwyn, overlooking St Mary’s Church. Christenings and first communions are some of the happiest days we host, whether the service is across the road or further away. We look after the food, the drinks and the little details, so the family can enjoy the day.

Have the whole restaurant for the celebration. The room, the bar and our team are all yours for the day.
Food & Drink
A feast for the whole family
Choose a generous buffet, set up your own menu with us, or order from the à la carte menu. It is our usual Greek and Mediterranean cooking, with plenty for vegetarian and vegan guests.
For a real Greek celebration, order one of our traditional spit roasts in advance: kontosouvli, our marinated pork, or arni sti souvla, whole lamb on the spit.
Drinks are not included. We can put together a drinks package with cocktails, wine and soft drinks for your guests.
For the children
Little guests, well looked after
High chairs, baby changing and a children’s menu, all on one floor with a step-free entrance. Tell us how many children are coming and we will have everything ready.
In the warmer months the garden is open until 21:30, lovely for a drinks reception after the service.
