Visiting Rodi
Access and getting here
Everything you may like to know before your visit.
Whether you are coming with a wheelchair, a pushchair, small children or your dog, here is what to expect when you arrive at 1 Church Street, overlooking St Mary’s Church in Old Welwyn village.

Getting in
Step-free, all on one floor
The entrance is step-free and the restaurant is on the ground floor, so you can reach your table without any steps.
We have an accessible toilet and baby changing facilities. If someone in your party uses a wheelchair, tick the box when you book and we will keep a table with easy access, close to the accessible toilet.
The garden is easy to reach as well, with a ramp.

Families and dogs
Children and dogs are welcome
Children are always welcome, and we have high chairs and a children’s menu available.
When booking, please let us know how many children and infants will be joining you, and how many high chairs you’ll need. We’ll have everything ready for you when you arrive.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome at lunchtime and in the early evening for bookings up to 17:30. Simply let us know when booking if you’ll be bringing a dog, and we’ll find a suitable spot for you.
Assistance dogs are welcome at any time.

Parking and directions
Welwyn Parish Council runs several free car parks in the village, open all day: Titmus Yard (AL6 9LW), Ottway Walk (AL6 9AS), Lockleys Drive (AL6 9NT) and Whitehill (AL6 9FN). Some have a height barrier, and Titmus Yard is a tight space to turn in. The High Street car park (AL6 9EQ) is short stay: 90 minutes between 08:00 and 18:00, Monday to Saturday. There is more on the Parish Council’s parking page.
By car, we are just off the A1(M) at junction 6, a few minutes from Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield and Stevenage. The nearest railway station is Welwyn North, a short taxi ride away.
On our website you can make the text larger with the Aa button at the top of the page (on a phone, in the More menu).
